Replacing the gear knob on a Dacia Sandero or Dacia Logan vehicle is a simple and quick operation to be carried out independently. Before removing the knob, it will be necessary to detach the gear lever gaiter. To do this, we must press on the bottom part of the gaiter to lift it. After lifting the gaiter, we unhook the metal clamp that locks the bottom part of the gear lever to the mechanism. After removing the clamp, we pull the knob outwards to replace it. We insert the new knob into the mechanism and position the gaiter, locking the knob and gaiter with a new clamp. We reinsert the gaiter and start the vehicle to test the gear operation.
