How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Derbi GPR 125

Before you can start, sit on the seat of your Derbi GPR 125. Begin by activating the instrument panel by simply turning the key in the ignition switch, without starting the engine. Then, press and hold the button located on the right-hand light switch of the handlebars until the "CODE" message appears.

At this point, enter the code "423" using the same button, and you will access the menu. Once you have completed this step, select and confirm your intention to reset the "Service" light, then turn off the instrument panel, and you will have completed the reset.

How to Replace the Piston on a Derbi GPR 125

To replace the piston on a Derbi GPR 125, loosen the bolts securing the cylinder head to its housing, allowing it to be removed along with the valve cover. This will enable you to access the bolts securing the cylinder at the top of the engine, allowing for its complete removal and revealing the underlying piston. The piston can now be freed from its securing bolts, enabling you to position the new piston onto the corresponding conrod. After installation, refit the engine components.
