How to set the time on the instrument panel of the DR5 by yourself.

Model: DR 5 MK 1 - Years 2007-2022
Part: Clock

To set the clock on the DR5, you need to work directly from the instrument panel using the partial odometer button. With the car stationary and the engine off, turn on the ignition and activate the parking lights using the switch on the stalk: this condition allows the system to enter adjustment mode. At this point, focus on the central display, where the time and kilometers are shown, and press the partial button located at the bottom right of the panel. By holding it down for a few seconds, the hour will start to flash, indicating that it is ready to be changed. While continuing to press the same button, advance the hours to the desired value; with further presses, you will automatically switch to adjusting the minutes, which will also flash and can be set in the same way. When the time is correct, stop pressing the button and wait a few seconds: the flashing will stop, and the time will be saved. To exit adjustment mode, simply turn off the parking lights and start the engine normally. The clock on the DR5 instrument panel will then remain updated and visible along with the other driving information.

How to Remove the Gear Knob on an Opel Astra

How to replace the gear knob on an Opel Astra? Follow these steps: use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if you need to replace it). Grip the knob with both hands and pull it upwards (with a strong and decisive motion) until it comes off the gear stick. For installation: fit the new gaiter and position it on the centre tunnel, take the new knob and push it onto the stick, tightening it until fully threaded. Test the movement of the stick on the centre tunnel to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
