For this motorcycle model, it is recommended to use 15w-50 engine oil and a kn159 filter. Remove the left lower side fairing by unscrewing the seven screws (five visible and two underneath) of 4 mm. After that, unscrew and remove the oil filler cap. Get underneath the bike and unscrew the oil drain bolt with a 14 mm spanner, collecting the used lubricant in a container and disposing of it properly. Fill with the same quantity of oil and replace the filter. It is advisable to change the oil after warming up the engine for a few minutes.
