The engine of the Gilera DNA 50 can be disassembled by loosening the screws that lock it to the appropriate supports, so that it is possible to completely remove the connectors and manifolds as well: once the engine has been freed, the screws fixing the cylinder to the top of the engine block can be loosened, accessing the underlying piston. The latter can now be detached from the corresponding connecting rod, in order to open the underlying crankcase and access the additional components inside. This will allow for the replacement of internal components, reassembling the removed parts.
