Basic service on Ducati Monster

Start the engine for a few minutes to warm up all the oil in the circuit. Don't heat it up too much or you won't be able to get your hands on it later on. Place a pan under the oil compartment and unscrew the drain pin with a ratchet wrench. In order not to dirty the duct which, in this model, is unfortunately located under the drain hole, put a piece of nylon on it. While collecting the used oil in the tank, unscrew the oil filter again with a ratchet wrench. Insert and screw the new piece (lubricate the o-r) and load the new oil from the upper filling hole, as shown in the video.

How to change the Moto Guzzi V7 engine oil and oil filter

Below we see the instructions necessary to replace the engine oil and the oil filter, carrying out the regular maintenance service of the Moto Guzzi V7. First of all we put our motorbike on the central stand and we begin to unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain in a container for about ten minutes; after which we unscrew the oil filter screw, replacing the cartridge with the new one, as shown in the video. Finally we unscrew the filler cap to top up, filling up to level!
