Replacing the motor oil in the Ducati Monster 1100, as we can see in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. We first wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then we position a container underneath the motorcycle, locate the drain plug and unscrew it using a 5mm hex key. We then let all the oil in the system drain out, remove the old filter, and tighten both the replacement filter and the drain plug. At this point, all that's left to do is add the required amount of oil through the designated upper hole.
