How to remove the knob on the Fiat Grande Punto

Is the gear knob on Fiat Grande Punto damaged? Let's see how it is disassembled and replaced. We take the knob in our hands and turn it to the left; unscrew it to the end of the thread and remove it from the shift rod. With a plastic lever we disconnect the leather cap in the upper part and then detach it from the lower part (if to be replaced). We assemble the new leather cap with the clips (if disassembled), then, take the new knob and insert it into the rod on the central tunnel until it is tightened in the rod. We test with the movement of the rod on the central tunnel the correct assembly of the knob. We look in more places to see if we have assembled all the pieces accurately.
