The operation of opening the trunk lid of the Ford Ecosport is a very simple operation that considerably facilitates the functionality of opening the same on occasions in which normal operation would otherwise be inconvenient. Of course, it is possible to open the tailgate using the remote control / key in the same way as we open the passenger compartment doors. In some cases, however, it would be useful to be able to open it in other ways. We can see that there is no handle or button for manual opening of the same in the usual positions. Instead, we find the handle with, below, the contact lock in the upper part of the right rear light, highlighted by the chrome finish. In this way we can open the tailgate which will have a lateral opening towards the left.
