How to replace the engine air filter on BMW 3 Series? Let's see in this video how to proceed: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, we secure the same. With a screwdriver unscrew the air box kit (where the air filter is present), disconnect the engine air intake pipe and the pin of the metal clamp. We remove the air filter box from the car body, then, extract the worn air filter and insert a new one making it adhere well around the walls of the box. Finally we reassemble the panel of the air box and tighten the screws. We close the front hood finally.
