Oil Top-Up on Fiat Punto 2

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

Turn off the car, remove the key, and open the bonnet using the support rod. Remove the oil level dipstick, which is indicated by the yellow cap and located near the windscreen. Wipe it with absorbent paper, reinsert it, and pull it out again. The tip of the dipstick indicates the oil level in the engine: an optimal amount should coat half of the measuring area. If it is below this, top up through the yellow cap, being careful not to overfill: if the oil exceeds the marked area on the dipstick, it risks damaging the engine. It is recommended to use 5W-30 oil for this model.
