Replacing the Key Battery on Fiat Cars

Model: Fiat Fiat Various
Part: Key

Press the designated button to extend the key into the usable position. This will give you access to the small latch that holds the side cover in place. Using a small flat screwdriver, rotate this latch to release the cover, which you can now remove. Along with it, the compartment for the 3 Volt CR2032 lithium battery will come out of the key housing. Replace it and proceed in reverse order for reassembly, inserting the cover back in place and securing the latch with the screwdriver. Check the key's proper functioning. As you can see, it's a very simple operation.
