Window Regulator Motor Replacement

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

To remove the window regulator motor, first remove the door panel: this operation is extremely simple as there are only a few fixing screws and some clips along the edges. Once the panel is removed, lower the glass to access the fixing clip that secures the glass to the lifting mechanism; then remove the plastic clip and detach the glass from the sliding block, hold it up and secure it with masking tape to the door pillar; at this point, disconnect the power connector from the motor. Next, unscrew the fixing bolts of the window mechanism and remove it complete with the motor. Proceed in reverse for the installation of the new mechanism, paying attention to secure the glass to the sliding block.
