To be able to disassemble the window motor it is first necessary to remove the door panel: this operation is extremely simple as there are only a few fixing screws and press-studs along the edges. Once the panel has been removed, lower the glass so as to be able to access the retainer for fixing the glass to the lifting mechanism; then remove the plastic split pin and unhook the glass from the sliding shoe, take it to the side and secure it with paper tape to the door pillar; at this point you can disconnect the power plug from the motor. Then unscrew the fixing pins of the window lifting mechanism and remove it complete with motor. Proceed backwards to install the new mechanism, paying attention to fastening the glass to the sliding shoe.

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Land Rover Evoque, it is necessary to go inside the passenger compartment and remove the panel which is positioned immediately under the glovebox.
