How to Remove the Starter Motor from a Fiat Punto?

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018
Part: Starter motor

To replace or repair the starter motor, you need to remove the battery and the left front wheel. The starter is located on the left side of the engine; lift the vehicle and work from underneath, accessing the engine compartment through the left wheel arch. Identify the bolts securing the starter to the engine and begin unscrewing them, then disconnect the terminals and electrical wiring. At this point, you will be able to extract the starter motor from under the engine. Take the new starter and proceed with the installation, then reassemble all the components that were removed earlier.
