Battery replacement for the Fiat Punto

If the battery of the Fiat Punto is discharged and does not hold subsequent charging attempts, we must proceed with the replacement. We open the hood of the engine compartment, disconnect the negative terminal clamp and then the positive one, unscrew the bolt at the base that secures the strap. We can then remove the old battery using its handle, retrieve the side protection that we will mount on the new battery, disassemble and thoroughly clean the housing, reassemble it and place the new battery in position, remove the vent caps, reassemble the strap and insert the clamps on the terminals starting from the positive one.
