Replacing the Battery of the Fiat Grande Punto

Today's procedure will show you how to remove and replace the battery of the Fiat Grande Punto, as well as the Punto Evo. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and start by removing the central battery strap. Then disconnect both terminals (positive and negative), finally unscrewing the bolt of the battery bracket to remove it from its compartment, as illustrated in the video. At this point, install the new battery of the correct type and with the same amperage; secure it properly and connect the electrical terminals!

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
