Operation: Battery replacement for the Fiat Punto

If the battery of the Fiat Punto, over time and with use, discharges and does not hold subsequent charges, we need to replace it. To do this, we open the engine hood and find its housing on the right side. Using a ratchet wrench with a 13mm extension and socket, we unscrew the bracket that secures the battery. Using a 10mm wrench, we remove the two terminals from the battery starting with the negative one, remove the old battery and insert the new one. We apply a thin layer of copper grease on the terminals and clean the inside of the terminals with sandpaper before reattaching them starting with the positive terminal. We reattach the securing bracket and tighten it with its nuts.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
