Replacing the timing belt on the Fiat Punto is done by opening the bonnet, so that you can access the components inside the engine compartment. In particular, the timing belt will be located on the left side of the engine block and can be removed by loosening the central pins of the pulleys. In this way the tension of the belt will be reduced and it can be extracted from its housing. Once the old belt has been removed, it will be possible to insert the new spare part, also assembling all the components previously removed.
