How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Fiat Punto

As the first step, remove the front right wheel, then lift your vehicle and place it on suitable axle stands. This will give you access to the side of the engine where the timing belt is located, allowing you to remove the inner wing panel. You will now have access to the tensioner pulley. By unscrewing the central bolt of this pulley, you can loosen the tension on the belt and then remove it. Once the belt is removed, simply install the new belt and retrace your steps.
