How to Take a Ford Mustang Mach-E to the Car Wash

It is essential to follow the manufacturer's instructions when taking the Ford Mustang Mach-E to a car wash. The YouTuber initially faced difficulties by not following them; being an electric car without traditional gears, it requires a special procedure to deactivate the gear lock and allow the conveyor to pull the car. While still in line with the car on and stationary, press the brake pedal and put it in 'N'; the screen will display a message to press the 'L' button, after which a confirmation will appear: 'Neutral mode activated for 30 minutes'. You can now turn off the car, which will remain in neutral, allowing it to be pulled without resistance. When exiting the wash, turn on the car, press the brake, and select 'D'; the temporary neutral mode will automatically deactivate. If entering a jet wash, simply activate the windscreen washer, turn on the wipers in intermittent mode, and engage the autohold to keep the car stationary without pressing the brake while slowly driving through the wash tunnel.
