Replacing the clutch is a task that requires more skill and additional tools compared to standard DIY, as it involves removing the gearbox. First, disconnect all components connected to the gearbox, unscrew the securing bolts around the perimeter, and remove it to place it on a workbench.

Next, remove the retaining circlip from the central gear and extract it; at this point, use a specific extractor consisting of a plate to attach to the gearbox and a central puller that acts as the extractor. Once the clutch assembly is disengaged, remove the extractor, the circlip for the bearing, and reposition the brackets and the other plate of the extractor to complete the disassembly.

After removing the clutch kit, slide the discs along the shaft, disassemble the electro-actuators and their internal push mechanisms. Then, remove the flange located just below the main shaft to replace the oil seal; clean the inside of the gearbox, reattach the flange, the upper oil seal, and the internal mechanisms aligning the references.

Reposition the central discs and install the new clutch; adjust the engagement of the electric actuators and reassemble them. Align the clutch and flywheel references before installing the gearbox back onto the vehicle.

At the end of the installation, initialise the system with appropriate diagnostic equipment.
