The engine of the Gilera DNA 50 can be completely disassembled by loosening the screws that secure it to the appropriate supports, allowing for its complete removal, including disconnecting the connectors. Once the engine block has been freed, it will be possible to unscrew the bolts that attach the cylinder to the top of the engine, gaining access to the piston in the internal area.

The piston can now be detached from the corresponding connecting rod, allowing for the opening of the lower case and access to additional internal components. This will enable the replacement of the necessary parts before finally closing the engine.
