Guide for replacing the rear headlight bulb on a Gilera Nexus 500. Obtain a P21 5W 12-volt bulb. Lift the seat and using a star screwdriver, unscrew the two upper screws of the rear fairing. Release the fairing by sliding it outwards. Using the star screwdriver, unscrew the four screws of the rear headlight, two located at the top and two at the ends of the headlight. Release the headlight and pull it outwards. Replace the bulb and test its operation. If the new bulb does not light, ensure that the electrical contacts of the bulb holder are not oxidised. If the contacts are oxidised or rusty, clean them thoroughly with electrical contact spray and brush with a small brush.
