To dismantle the engine of a Gilera Runner, remove the protective fairings and loosen the bolts that secure it within its housing: this will allow the engine block to be removed from its seat. Once extracted, unscrew the screws that secure the two half casings, also loosening the screws that hold the cylinder at the top: this will allow access to the components inside, which can be removed and potentially replaced with new spare parts. After replacement, reassemble the engine, installing it back into its housing.
