In this video, you will see how to remove the top box from a Kymco People or Agility (the procedure is the same). As seen in the video, at the central rear part, there is a fastening point secured by a screw. Now, with the scooter key, insert the key into the top box and instead of opening it from the top, unclip it by pressing the lock from underneath, where the key is. Tilt it slightly forward and pull it off. If you also want to remove the mounting plate, use the key to lever and lift the plastic panel. Underneath, you will find four screws that will allow you to remove the plate. For reassembly, note that on the back side there is a tooth of the mounting plate and the lock on the top box. Just align them by pressing the lock button. And that’s it.
