In this video, we see how to remove the top case from the Kymco People or Agility (the procedure is the same). As we can see from the video, in the central rear part, we have a fastening provided by a screw. Now, using the scooter key, we insert the key into the top case and instead of opening it from the top, we release it by pressing the lock from the bottom, where the key is. We tilt it slightly forward and in doing so, we remove it. If you also want to remove the mounting plate, using the key again, we lever and lift the plastic panel. Underneath, we find four screws that will allow us to remove the plate. For reassembly, you can see on the rear side there is a tooth on the plate and a lock on the top case. Simply align them by pressing the lock button. And it's done.

In order to replace the instrument panel of the BMW R 1200 GS you have to unscrew the screws that secure the windshield, removing it completely; at this point, the three seeger rings that secure the instrument panel to the frame must be removed. At this point it will be possible to remove the instrument panel from inside its housing by disconnecting the connector at the rear. At this point it will be possible to unscrew the screws that secure the rear part of the instrumentation, removing the old dials and the display. In this way it will be possible to insert the new ones, reinstalling all the instruments.
