How to reset the maintenance indicator on a Kymco People 250

Before starting, we will need to make sure that the service has been carried out. Let's start by sitting on the saddle of our Kymco People 250. How do you reset the Oil Change indicator on the Yamaha Xmax 400?

On the Yamaha Xmax 400, to reset the Oil Service light, you need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the key in the ignition switch. Once the panel is on, you can pull the lever located at the base of the right handlebar grip, where it says TRIP. You will need to continue holding this lever up until the Oil Change light starts flashing and then turns off completely. Once the light has been fully reset, the instrument panel should be turned off to complete the process.
