In today's article, we will show you how to replace the battery of the Harley Davidson Sportster 1200. For this operation, you will need a Phillips screwdriver. To replace the battery, first remove the side cover on the left side of the motorcycle by applying pressure and leverage with your hands. Once the cover is removed, use the screwdriver to disconnect the positive terminal connector of the battery. After removing the positive connector, remove the battery fixing bolt. Once the fixing bolt is removed, pull the battery outwards, being careful with the negative terminal connector. Unscrew and remove the negative terminal connector and extract the battery. To install the new battery, screw in the negative terminal, place the battery in position, insert the fixing bolt, connect the positive terminal connector, and reinsert the battery cover.
