To replace the starter motor of the Honda CB 900F, we unscrew the eight screws of the flange under the cylinders, on the side of the gear pedal, and remove it. We remove the small gear at the top right, unscrew the two screws of the starter motor cover and remove it together with the gasket, unscrew the screws that fix the motor, use a hammer to unlock it and remove it by disconnecting the electrical connections. Insert a new starter motor, restore the connections, position it and tighten the screws, put back the gear, position the gasket, and then the flange by tightening it with its screws, put back the cover and gasket of the starter motor by screwing the screws.
