Descriptive guide for replacing the air filter on a 2008 Honda Hornet CB600F. Obtain an HIFLO air filter HFA1618. Position the motorcycle on the side stand. Using a ratchet and a 4mm hex socket, unscrew the fixing screw of the left side cover located under the seat. Using a cross-head screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the filter cover (the cover is located under the carburettors and is triangular in shape). Extract the air filter, taking care of the orientation. Clean the cover with compressed air. Replace the air filter and reassemble as per disassembly.
