The recommended oil, especially if it is close to winter, is 10W40 7100. Warm up the engine, turning it on for a few minutes, in order to make the oil less dense and facilitate its escape. After placing a pan under the engine oil compartment, unscrew the nut that acts as a drain plug and collect the used oil. It is also advisable to unscrew the upper filling cap immediately to avoid vacuum packing. To replace the filter, just unscrew the two screws with an 8 wrench, remove it and insert the new filter, after having lubricated it (lubricate the OR too). Close the drain hole firmly and insert the new lubricant from the upper hole.

In this video tutorial we will see how to change the transmission oil of the Aprilia Rx 50 2-stroke enduro motorcycle, following these simple and quick steps. First of all, we put our motorcycle on the stand and begin to unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes; after which we unscrew the screws of the oil filter cover, replacing the cartridge with the new one. At this point we unscrew the gear oil filler screw, top up and finally check the transmission oil level!
