To replace the stator on the Honda CBR 929, loosen the bolts securing the seat to its housing to gain access to the components underneath: disconnect the motorcycle battery before removing the stator. The stator is accessible from the right side of the bike: unscrew the bolts securing the side panel under the tank and those securing the additional cover underneath.

You can now remove the stator by disconnecting the power cables; this will allow you to fit a new replacement part, reassembling all previously removed components.
