How to Change the Engine Oil of a Honda Shadow?

To change the engine oil of a Honda Shadow, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid, then turn off the engine. Position the bike on a centre stand for stability.

Under the engine, locate the oil drain plug and place a collection bowl underneath it. Use a spanner to unscrew the drain plug and allow the oil to completely drain into the bowl. Once all the oil has drained, replace the drain plug and tighten it securely.

Find the oil filler cap on the engine and remove it. Use a funnel to slowly pour in the recommended amount of new oil as specified in the owner's manual. After pouring in the new oil, replace the filler cap. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to allow the oil to circulate, then turn it off and check for any oil leaks.
