Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Honda Civic MK 7 - Years 2001-2006
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, behind the glove compartment (there are actually two filters).
First, remove the glove compartment door by taking out the two side support clips and lowering the door completely: the cap of the cabin air filter container is immediately visible. Remove the cap and extract the first filter, then slide the second filter to the left and pull it out. Insert the first filter, ensuring the airflow direction is correct, followed by the second; reapply the cap and reattach the glove compartment door.
