Here’s how to open a stuck glove compartment on a Honda vehicle: first, ensure that the issue is not an object inside pressing against the door (in this case, simply push the door inward while operating the handle). Remove the small plastic cover around the lock.

Then, using a small flathead screwdriver, gently pry it off to see the mechanism. With the help of a torch, look inside the metal mechanism.

You should see a slot or a point where a component moves. Insert the small flat screwdriver into that slot and push in the direction that would typically open it (often downwards).

You should hear a click, and the compartment will open.
