Replacing the Speedometer Lights on a Honda Civic

Model: Honda Civic MK 8 - Years 2006-2012

Lower the steering wheel by pulling down the lever on its side (to your left). Remove the entire panel around the speedometer by simply pulling it off by hand, then unscrew the exposed cross-head screws. Pull the speedometer from the top, and it will come out of its housing. Disconnect the two connectors from it. At this point, with the speedometer completely disassembled, changing the lights is a breeze: work from the back, removing the black housings containing the small bulbs, which you will need to extract and replace.
