The battery of the 2022 Toyota Yaris Cross is located inside the front hood, next to the engine. To replace the vehicle's battery, we need to open the front hood and remove the cover on the battery by pressing on the sides. After removing the cover, using a 13mm ratchet key, we unscrew the nut of the negative terminal and immediately after the positive terminal. We remove the battery and insert the new one. We connect the positive and negative terminals to resume the battery's operation. We close the cover and access the vehicle to test its operation.
