Operation: How to adjust the sliding side door of the Fiat Ducato.

To adjust the door of the Fiat Ducato, there are several adjustment points where you can intervene. In the upper rear part, there is a pin (bolt) that, once loosened, can be moved to pull the upper rear corner of the door with the appropriate stop at the corner. In the upper front part of the door, the roller guide can be adjusted to further pull the door towards the frame. On the front edge of the door, there are two pins and sockets that fit together to pull the front edge of the door inward: the sockets can be adjusted to bring it closer or further away from the frame. If the sockets are worn out like in the video, they can be rotated 180 degrees to last longer. The sliding side door can also be stopped so that it locks in the central point of the track without fully opening: this can be done by inserting a tennis ball pushed into the lower track, or a PVC pipe can be inserted into the central track (the pipe must be the same size as the van's track).

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
