Resetting the Maintenance Light on Honda HR-V

Model: Honda Hr V RU, MK 2 - Years 2016-2022

The first step is to perform maintenance on the vehicle, such as changing the engine oil and filters. After completing the DIY service, get inside the vehicle and engage the handbrake; with the engine off and your foot off the brake pedal, press the START button once, then press the START button again; at this point, the vehicle will power on. Now, use the button at the top right of the speedometer to scroll through the SETTINGS MENU. When you reach the message regarding oil life, press and hold the button for about 10 seconds; the display will start to flash. Continue to hold the button above the speedometer until the RESET is completed at 100%.
