To replace the number plate light bulb in a Honda CR-V, remove the light unit located directly above the number plate from its housing. You may need to lever it out with a tool like a screwdriver: once the light unit is removed, disconnect the connector attached to it and take out the old bulb inside. After removing it, connect the new bulb to the connector and insert it back into the light unit; finally, snap the light unit back into its place.
