To replace the front brake pads on a Husqvarna 701, loosen the bolts that secure the caliper to its housing at the rear of the disc. Once the brake caliper is detached, slide it off its housing and remove the pads inside. Now, insert the new pads into the caliper and reposition it onto the disc; secure it with the appropriate pin to ensure the brake functions correctly.
