Disassemble and Replace Hyundai i20 Key Shell Cover

Model: Hyundai I20 MK 1, PB - Years 2008-2014
Part: Key

You will need: Flat screwdriver, cross screwdriver, pliers with curved tips. Step 1: Open the old and new key shell (be careful with the spring). Step 2: Prepare the old key for the new shell. Step 3: Remove the circuit board and battery from the old shell. Step 4: Carefully remove the transponder by breaking the outer plastic with the pliers. Step 5: Cut the glue around the transponder chip using a cutter. Step 6: Transfer the transponder chip, battery, and circuit board to the new shell. Step 7: Close the new case and secure it with the screw at the back.
