How to Replace the Remote Battery on an Infiniti QX30

To replace the remote battery on an Infiniti QX30, release the catch and remove the emergency key from the remote. Insert the emergency key into the designated slot and press until the battery cover opens. Note the orientation of the old battery, to install the new one in the same way. Insert the new battery with the negative side facing the same direction noted during removal. Insert the front tabs of the battery cover into place and press to close it. Reinsert the emergency key into the remote. Finally, operate the remote to check that it works correctly.
