How to reset the service of the Isuzu D-Max

Model: Isuzu Isuzu D Max Rt85, Rt50 - Years 2011-2024

To reset the service of the Isuzu D-Max there are two methods: a manual procedure without OBD equipment: turn on the ignition without starting the engine and press the "trip" button until the "oil life" screen (or service interval, depending on the version) is displayed. Hold down the "trip" button for 5/10 seconds, until the oil life percentage (or counter) starts flashing. Release and press again until you see 100%, or "---" (depending on the version). Turn off and on again to verify. If the manual procedure does not work, we must proceed with the OBD2 tool, connecting it to the diagnostic socket. Select the "service reset" or "maintenance" menu on the tool and follow the instructions it provides to reset the maintenance interval. If it is a model before 2012, we will instead have to disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes, then reconnect it and start to see if the warning light is off.
