Operation: How do I change the gearbox oil on the Jaguar X-Type?

In order to change the gear oil of the Jaguar X-Type you have to lift the car using a jack and access its lower part. You will need to place a container under the gearbox and loosen the bolt that secures its drain plug. In this way it will be possible to collect all the used oil inside the container, closing the cap again. At this point, it will be possible to top up with 75w90 type oil, inserting a tube in the appropriate slot and pouring the oil through a funnel. After topping up, the slot must be closed with the appropriate cap.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
