How to Replace the Oil Filter on a Jeep Renegade

Before starting, lift the front of your Jeep Renegade. Begin by opening the bonnet, then unscrew and remove the oil filler cap. Next, place a container under the oil sump, then unscrew and remove the oil drain plug. Wait for the oil to completely drain out. At this point, unscrew and remove the oil filter located near the oil sump, completing the disassembly. To fit the new oil filter, simply screw it in place of the old one. Once you have completed this step, the replacement will be finished, and you can add the new oil.
