In this guide, you will learn how to perform the routine maintenance service for changing the oil and oil filter on a Jeep Renegade 2.4 MultiAir, as well as on the MultiJet. First, lift the vehicle and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located on the sump using a socket spanner; allow the old oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes. Next, unscrew the oil filter, which is located next to the oil sump, using the appropriate tool; then screw in the new one and tighten it by hand. Finally, pour in the new oil!

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
