How to change the cabin air filter on the Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

Open the glove compartment door. Remove the plastic cover to the right of the drawer (unclip the clips behind it). Carefully unclip the cover without breaking it. Under the cover, there is a screw. After unscrewing the locking screws at the top, proceed to remove the locking screws at the bottom of the glove compartment. Move the fabric lining. Unscrew the 3 Torx screws. Remove the glove compartment from inside the dashboard. Disconnect the electrical connector with a small screwdriver (trim removal kit). At this point, you will see the cabin air filter cover that needs to be removed by unscrewing the screw. Grasp and pull the air filter out of the housing. Finally, fit the new filter and reassemble the components in reverse order.
