In order to reset the Service light of the Kawasaki Ninja 500, you need to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once the panel is turned on, you can hold down both buttons located on its two sides. This will bring up a menu where you can select the "Service" option and then "Oil change" using the button on the right side of the panel. At this point, you will need to select "Yes" and notice that the Service light will disappear completely from the instrument panel; it can then be turned off.
