Removing the External Rear-View Mirror of the Kia Optima

In this guide, we will see the procedure for removing and replacing the external rear-view mirror of the Kia Optima. First, open the front door of the vehicle and start removing the triangular plastic cover located behind the external rear-view mirror; then unscrew the fastening nuts of the mirror, disconnecting the electric connector for adjustment to slide the mirror out from the outside, as shown in the video. At this point, replace and install the new rear-view mirror, finally adjusting the angle of the glass!
